Worked well for me Jun 18, 2010 So I got this cable about a year ago and it worked great. Of course it is a bit long for use in the care, that didn't bother me too much. It worked very well all year, however in the past few weeks I did notice the sound going out a little bit every now and then, but fiddling with the input for a second or two would fix it. I imagine it would get worse with time, but for the price here on amazon, I don't think it's that bad.
I originally bought it at the Apple store in the mall for $25, which I thought was way over-priced at the time. Wish I had seen this at the time.
However, my car was recently broken into and the cable was stolen (nothing else was in the car). So a word of warning, don't leave this lying around in your car, even if you take your iPod out with you, a thief will see it and think there is an iPod still in the car.
That being said I need a new auxiliary cable and I just ordered one of these through Amazon, which offers a much better price than anything you'll find in stores.
Overall, I was very satisfied with this product and am a repeat customer. However, there are some problems: the length and it will fail eventually (although mine worked fine with no problems for about 11 months).
4 stars.
Broke In Three Months! May 11, 2010 The Belkin cable worked great for a full three months. And despite the fact that the length was way more than was neccessary, it worked fine for both my video ipod classic and my iphone. However it recently randomly began being staticy and then only the right side of my car played the ipod/iphone. I know it was just the chord bc the radio workds just fine. I've heard other people with this problem and I don't recoment paying so much money for a chord that would break so easily.
High Quality Cable Apr 22, 2010 Very high quality cable. The chrome-finished ends are a nice touch and go well with accents in my car. This is a Cadillac of cables - very well put together with good materials.
pay the money for a better cable Mar 18, 2010 sooooooooooo much better than the $3 cable, of course.
Doesn't short out or crackle, just smooth playing.
Excellent seller Jan 27, 2010 I am a very satisfied customer. I can easily trust this seller. My product came in fast and in superb condition. I have full confidence on this seller.
