Well I think it's a nice microphone and stand Jun 13, 2010 I purchased this for my 8 year old son so that he could practice his vocalizing and songs and he hated it for some reason. Although it is solidly built and produced a very clear tone he said it was "a girl's microphone." Does anyone else have a son that rejected this microphone for similar reasons?

Impossible to find repair parts Apr 20, 2010 These stands are okay; they're lightweight so they're easy to carry around and easy to setup and use. However, the main collar is plastic and easily damaged. The collar (or any of the pieces of the stand) appears to be replaceable but finding replacement parts is impossible, thereby making the stand entirely useless once its been damaged.
perfect for 7 year old!! Apr 14, 2010 My daughter loves pretending she's the next AmIdol! She wanted a "real" mic so she could pretend to be Taylor Swift and play a guitar while signing in a mic. This has been a simple, favorite gift for her!!
Lots of fun Mar 25, 2010 Got this item for my daughter and she is having a blast with it. I was impressed at the quality for the price.
rugged and just great Feb 23, 2010 i play different styles of punk and this mic is just great to shout into. It looks professional and comes with everything you need (it even comes with clips to keep the cord parallel to the stand). On/Off Switch, detachable cable, mic clip, compressable stand, and a tripod base.
