 Low cost, effective, and good for last minute shaving! Jul 10, 2010
Both the electric shaver and nose hair trimmer work efficiently. However, the motor does get loud if you are using it for a long time, so before you turn it on, make sure you have an idea as to what you're doing. I would say give it 10 minutes before it starts getting noticeably warm and the noise turns up. It gets fairly annoying, but not totally intolerable. All in all, good product for a great price.

My wife gave me this set for Christmas and, having never had a trimmer before, did not know what to expect. After the first use I was very pleased in the performance of the large trimmer, not so much the small trimmer which I found basicly useless. Now after having it for six months it quit. I've changed the batteries, cleaned the contacts, cleaned and lubed the cutting head but it will not work. It's a nice set and I'm disapointed that it did not last longer so I'll step up to a better model which I hope will last longer than six months. It goes to show you that you get what you pay for!

My previous beard trimmer was a samller version of this product and it lasted me for ten years. Iv'e had a mustache for thirty two years and this Wahl trimmer works great on my coarse hair and the nose trimmer works really well. The price of this trimmer was fantastic because before I purchased this product I checked the prices at the so-called Super Stores and I could not find one cheaper and they actually wanted eighteen dollars just for the trimmer and no nose trimmer. Thanks Amazon, you have the best prices!!!

I had a Conair rechargable. Unfortunately I lost the cord to recharge it so I picked up this one. Wow, was that a mistake.
I don't have a very thick beard, yet I found I had to go over the same spots again and again to get any sort of semblance of evenness.
It tears at my hairs at times and can be somewhat painful.
It makes a LOT of noise.
